THE IRON MAN
Chris Mould

Ted Hughes's classic is regarded as one of the greatest children's books of all time. With strong environmental messages, his words are more relevant now than ever.

Chris Mould is an author and award-winning illustrator He has created an exciting new edition of The Iron Man for the 21st century, featuring stunning illustrations. Chris's other work includes illustrations for Matt Haig's The Truth Pixie and A Boy Called Christmas series.

Come to the bookshop and watch Chris paint the shop window. Plus drop-in drawing activities.

Join Chris for a reading from The Iron Man, and see some of his striking artwork.

Festival tickets are on sale from Saturday 27 July.

They will be available online via TicketSource or by calling 0333 666 3366. (Please note phone orders will have a charge of £1.75 per booking, this includes cost of posting tickets.)

Books

Pop-up bookshops will be selling books throughout the day in the Drive Methodist Church and The Vine.

Sevenoaks Bookshop open as usual, 9am-5.30pm.

There will be author book-signings after each event!

Food

Local restaurants will have special offers for festival-goers on the day: Nando's, Pizza Express and Wagamama.

Getting Here

By train: All venues are a short walk from Sevenoaks train station

By car: Sevenoaks is just off the M25/A25/A21. Parking available in town.

By bus: Sevenoaks bus station is a short walk along the High Street from the festival venues.
