YOUNG READER REVIEW
‘Shades of Scarlet’ is a modern fiction novel about 14 year old Scarlet growing up. When her mum is caught cheating on her dad with Richard Naylor, Scarlet starts to become more argumentative and frustrated with her parents causing so many quarrels. I deeply enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to teens as it is funny and relatable. Rating: 4/5. By: Phoebe (age 13)
