Brown shines a light on secondary characters from their story, such as ‘Magic Alex’, their madcap electronics engineer; Jimmie Nicol, the drummer who joined them on tour for 13 days at the height of Beatlemania when Ringo was ill; even Princess Margaret makes an appearance or two.
