Autumn by Ali Smith

£9.99

Bookseller Review by Elle:

I’ve decided to make my way through Ali Smith’s Seasonal quartet this year, and what better way to start than by reading ‘Autumn’ in Autumn?

This did not disappoint. Ali Smith chronicles the real-life timeline in which the novels were written and ‘Autumn’ touches on Brexit and the current issues of the time. Ultimately, however, it’s a really touching and gentle coming of age story about the friendship between a young girl and an old man who lives nearby. Such elegant writing, and she makes it look so easy!
