There has been a disturbing rise in antisemitism in Europe over the last fifteen years or so. More recently, the Labour Party has come under fire for engaging in antisemitic abuse. Yet despite the dramatic increase in debate and discussion around antisemitism, there is a general sense of confusion about what should and shouldn’t be defined as antisemitism – and particularly around criticism of the State of Israel.
